The Land
Nestled in the heart of SouthPark is a five-acre urban oasis. This pristine property, with a long and storied tradition, will be soon home to Seven Oaks, an exclusive, luxury townhome community.
A rare opportunity
Live a gracious, active lifestyle in a peaceful, private sanctuary, just steps from SouthPark’s upscale shops, restaurants and amenities.
Beautiful land with a venerable history
The last parcel of an original 100-acre property has been proudly owned by the Phillips family and their descendants since 1914. For several years the land was used for agricultural purposes, including a large dairy farm. As Charlotte expanded, the land was eventually converted to other residential and commercial uses, leaving the original family homestead (named Seven Oaks) remaining on the site. After careful consideration by the family, their trust was placed in the Blue Azalea team to respect the needs of neighbors and the community as part of future residential development plans.
We are proud to be the stewards of this historic parcel of land and honored to carry the legacy forward of the Phillips family and its matriarch by keeping the name of the property as Seven Oaks and naming the main thoroughfare Peggy Oaks Lane.
We remain committed and appreciative for the trust placed in us by the Phillips family and the support received from the neighborhood. We look forward to delivering beautiful homes for the next generation of families who will grace this land.

Neighborhood
Six miles south of Uptown is the booming, popular community of SouthPark, named after the upscale SouthPark Mall, which opened in 1970. The property that now features a 1.8 million square foot shopping facility, the largest shopping mall in the state, was once a part of a 3,000 acre farm. SouthPark Mall is considered the luxury shopping destination in the Carolinas where you can experience lavish spas, indulge in decadent cuisine or peruse the friendly confines of quality retailers.
In addition to the mall, SouthPark is also a valued residential area with great schools and one of the largest business districts in Charlotte and the state of North Carolina, with an estimated 40,000 employees. SouthPark also hosts the Charlotte Symphony's Summer Pops series, a city tradition since 1983, where families and friends come together and enjoy outdoor orchestral concerts for four Sundays in June and one additional America-themed concert in July to celebrate Independence Day. The majority of SouthPark's neighborhoods are older, developed in the 1970s and 1980s and are larger properties with established trees and sidewalks. However, there are new estates being built in the area as well as mix-use shopping and residential centers that are attracting homebuyers to this growing urban area of Charlotte.
